Paris born fashion designer Magali Pascal creates ready-to-wear, high-end pieces that embody effortless French style. Designed for women who embrace their femininity, the brand blends timeless silhouettes with Bohemian sophistication.

The collections are defined by their light and sheer styles that emphasize on fluid movements. Magali’s collections are recognisable in their feminine, vintage aesthetic, often inspired by 1900s French embroidery.

Each season prints are designed in-house to compliment the carefully chosen soft natural fabrics including silks, raw linens and organic cottons. The brand’s trans-seasonal styles transition from day to night.

With a focus on quality, Magali’s designs are produced in-house in Bali to deliver a handmade, exclusive feel to every piece.

Parisian born and raised, Magali spent her childhood visiting art museums and exhibitions where she discovered her passion for the arts.

Magali attended Ensad (Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs) where she studied Fashion and explored couture. After her graduation in 2002 and interning at several fashion-houses in Paris, Magali decided to travel to Asia where she fell in love with Indonesia and decided to move to Bali.

Magali’s time in Bali began in a tiny studio at home where in 2005 she designed and sewed her first capsule collection, inspired by her French savoir-faire and nomadic lifestyle. A year later, she had opened her first flagship store on the island.

At Magali Pascal, we believe in the importance of contributing and giving back to our local community. We have been designing and producing in Bali for over 15 years and have grown from just Magali herself to a team of more than 80, of which 90% are Balinese. We work with local independent artisans who are supported and their handicrafts preserved.

With a 98% female team, the brand is designed and created by women for women.

We use high quality fabrics which are sourced locally as often as possible, and everything is produced in Indonesia. As we work towards zero waste within our production, we are constantly looking to use fabric off-cuts to create beautiful new designs, which is why you’ll often find repeated prints across collections.

Our headquarters and factory are both under one roof and have been ergonomically designed to help us improve our sustainable practices. We use natural light, recycle with Bali Eco Recycle, and we are in the process of eliminating single use plastic.
